Freight Forwarder – Air Freight Healthcare

About the role

DSV is looking for a proactive Freight Forwarder specialized in air freight for the healthcare sector. You will act as the key interface between customers and internal/external service providers, ensuring smooth transport from pick‑up to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Control, organise and monitor the complete transport process, including invoicing.
• Maintain active communication with customers, DSV offices, agents, sales teams, subcontractors and carriers.
• Accept and review customer orders, verify all shipment documents (e.g., IMO/DGR certificates, country regulations) and record them accurately.
• Monitor job costing and profitability, process vendor invoices according to senior team lead instructions.
• Resolve operational issues, manage escalations according to matrix specifications, and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Required profile

• Functional know‑how in air freight, preferably in an international environment.
• Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Fluent in English and French; German is an asset.
• Strong customer focus, planning and organising abilities, and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice concepts and applicable SOPs.
