Frontend Engineer – Growth

About the role

Join Synthesia’s Growth team as a Frontend Engineer and own end‑to‑end experiments that directly impact activation, conversion and revenue. You will work on high‑impact features, from hypothesis through production, measuring outcomes and iterating quickly based on data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship growth‑focused frontend experiments across activation flows, onboarding, self‑serve, and freemium infrastructure.
• Develop and extend the experimentation platform, including A/B testing infrastructure, instrumentation, and metrics pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and data analysts to prioritize high‑leverage work and translate ambiguous business problems into clean technical solutions.
• Operate with autonomy, defining what to build and ensuring scalability alongside experimentation velocity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in activation, conversion, monetisation, or product‑led growth (PLG) systems.
• Hands‑on experience building or significantly extending A/B testing and experimentation infrastructure.
• Strong habit of quantifying impact with metrics such as conversion rate, activation rate, ARR lift, INP/TTI.
• Product sense and ownership mindset, comfortable owning problems from definition to delivery.

Required skills

• Frontend development expertise (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frameworks).
• Experience with experimentation platforms, A/B testing frameworks, and metrics pipelines.
• Ability to work full‑stack on growth‑related surfaces.
