Frontend Software Engineer – React & TypeScript

About the role

Techyon, a boutique head-hunting firm for IT C-Suite and managerial roles, is recruiting a Frontend Software Engineer for an innovative optical inspection systems company. The position is based on site in Mendrisio, Switzerland, under a Swiss contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop modern, high-performance and well-structured user interfaces
• Work with REST/GraphQL APIs and handle asynchronous data

Required profile

• Solid experience with React.js, including hooks, component design and performance techniques such as memoization and code splitting
• Advanced TypeScript, including types, generics, interfaces and API/prop typing
• Experience with at least one state management library (e.g. Redux, Zustand, Redux Toolkit, Recoil)
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and Git
• High proficiency in spoken and written English and Italian

Required skills

• React.js and TypeScript (essential)
• State management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Redux Toolkit or Recoil
• REST/GraphQL API consumption
• Desirable: MUI, Three.js and XState
