About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing Tour Guide to join our Basel team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will lead small‑group city tours and day trips across Switzerland, creating memorable experiences for international travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging small‑group city tours and day trips throughout Switzerland.
• Share captivating stories about Swiss history, culture, landmarks and local traditions.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to guests and answer their questions.
• Ensure tours run smoothly, stay on schedule and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Represent the company with positivity and professionalism.

Required profile

• Fluent English; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, German, French) are a strong advantage.
• Valid Swiss work permit.
• Friendly, confident, energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for tourism, Swiss culture and customer service.
• Ability to manage groups effectively and stay organized in dynamic settings.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
• Background in arts, history, culture or related fields is valued.
• 1–2 years of tour‑guide experience is desirable but not mandatory.
