Fund Execution, Trade Processing & Settlement Specialist

About the role

Avaloq, a Swiss provider of wealth management technology and services for financial institutions, is looking for a Fund Execution, Trade Processing & Settlement Specialist in Bioggio. The role supports the end-to-end processing of fund and securities transactions, covering fund order execution through platforms such as Allfunds and Fundsettle, trade processing, settlement monitoring and the resolution of operational exceptions across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of fund orders, including subscriptions, redemptions and switches
• Process and monitor fund transactions mainly through Allfunds and Fundsettle
• Ensure timely transmission and execution of fund orders according to market and fund cut-off times
• Process stock exchange trades (mainly bonds, equities and ETFs) in Avaloq Banking Suite
• Settle delivery versus payment (DVP) and receive versus payment (RVP) trades
• Monitor settlement operations and failed trades, and liaise with fund platforms, custodians and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues
• Carry out cash and security reconciliation

Required profile

• Experience in Fund Operations, Securities Operations, Trade Processing or Settlement
• Experience managing post-trade processing and settlement across multiple markets
• Fluent English; German and/or French is a plus

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Allfunds and/or Fundsettle
• Understanding of funds and securities trade lifecycles
• Knowledge of custody, settlement and reconciliation processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong organization and attention to detail
