Global Head of Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Global Head of Procurement to lead and transform our worldwide procurement organization. Based in Lucerne, you will define the global procurement strategy, build strong supplier partnerships and ensure operational excellence across all regions for a leading dental care company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global procurement strategy aligned with business and financial objectives.
• Build and lead a centralized procurement function, optimizing setups at global, regional and local levels.
• Establish procurement KPIs, governance frameworks and ensure compliance with financial, regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485).
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives, supply continuity and performance improvement.
• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management worldwide.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Business leaders and represent procurement in global planning processes.
• Manage procurement teams in a matrix organization and develop capabilities for cost, quality and reliability.

Required profile

• 15+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, including global leadership roles.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and performance improvements.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and change‑management skills.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or healthcare.
• Ability to operate in an international, matrix environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 quality standard.
