Global Project Manager – Basel

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Global Project Manager to lead a portfolio of development, line‑extension, post‑approval, technology and continuous‑improvement projects. Based in Basel, you will work autonomously, prioritising tasks and coordinating with global teams to deliver on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Translate device strategy into actionable Design & Development Plans in partnership with Technical Development and Device Team leads.
• Define “inspection ready” milestones, manage scope changes and monitor project schedules.
• Drive team activities to meet design‑control deliverables and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate risk identification, mitigation planning and issue resolution.
• Maintain transparent communication, escalations and stakeholder dashboards.
• Promote positive team dynamics through team‑building and collaborative tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, regulated projects in a medical‑device or related environment.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel 10‑20% domestically and engage with external partners.
