Global Safety and Assurance Manager

About the role

The Global Safety and Assurance Manager will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a robust global audit program for an international energy organisation. Based in Geneva, the role involves regular global travel and close collaboration with senior executives and operational teams across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a global safety audit programme, providing objective oversight of critical safety controls.
• Present audit data and findings to board members on a monthly basis and drive root‑cause analysis with continuous improvement plans.
• Define, track and report leading and lagging performance metrics against agreed KPIs.
• Contribute to senior leadership discussions to strengthen a global HSEQ culture.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the oil & gas or other high‑risk sectors, focusing on health & safety.
• Degree in chemical, process engineering or petroleum and a safety diploma qualification.
• Fluent English and willingness to undertake regular global travel.
