Global Sourcing Manager - Growth Tech

About the role

Our Global Procurement Office is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager within the Indirects Category team in Zug, Switzerland. The role supports delivery of company cost and cash‑flow targets while leading strategic category management for key business services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for indirect services, applying ABI’s 8‑Step Sourcing methodology.
• Lead negotiations and contract management for global‑owned supplier contracts, ensuring quality, cost, and ESG objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships and portfolio, from local start‑ups to Fortune‑500 companies.
• Own zero‑based budgeting (ZBB) policies and budget processes for key cost packages.
• Provide senior stakeholders (directors, VPs, chiefs) with data‑driven recommendations and negotiate favorable terms.
• Leverage analytics to create internal and external benchmarks and identify savings opportunities.
• Coach and mentor regional buyers and back‑office teams, sharing best practices through the annual Champions workshop.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, business, economics, supply chain or a related field.
• 4‑8 years of experience in procurement, category management, strategic sourcing or management consulting.
• Strong interest in indirect procurement categories such as facilities, fleet, real estate, utilities, etc.
• Comfortable with quantitative analysis and translating data into clear business cases.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive, bias‑for‑action mindset with ability to build cross‑functional relationships.
