Global Strategic Account Director – Financial Services

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Global Strategic Account Director to lead a key financial services client relationship. The role combines industry expertise, executive credibility, and technical acumen to drive AI‑powered transformation and strengthen Microsoft’s strategic partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as executive sponsor, building trusted advisor relationships with Board members, Group Executive Board executives, and C‑suite leaders.
• Define and communicate a long‑term vision, growth strategy, and transformation roadmap, mobilising One Microsoft across sales, engineering, consulting and partner teams.
• Partner with business leaders to accelerate AI adoption, aligning Microsoft 365, Copilot, Azure AI, Data, Security and Cloud Infrastructure to the client’s priorities.
• Identify and drive large‑scale, multi‑year transformation opportunities that deliver measurable business impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading strategic global accounts or major transformation programmes within banking, wealth management or capital markets.
• Established executive network and credibility in the Swiss financial services ecosystem.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering multi‑year, high‑value deals.
• Executive‑level communication skills and ability to influence Board and C‑suite audiences.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of AI and its impact on financial services.
• Expertise in Azure AI, Microsoft 365, Copilot, Cloud Infrastructure, Data and Security platforms.
• Experience shaping enterprise‑scale digital transformation and governance frameworks.
