GMP Material Supply Operator – Basel

About the role

We are looking for a GMP‑compliant Material Supply Operator to support the cleaning, autoclaving and distribution of small parts and mobile plant components in a regulated production environment. The role is based in Basel and involves close collaboration with manufacturing, quality and waste‑management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform GMP‑compliant cleaning and autoclaving of small parts and mobile equipment.
• Support process activities such as sample management and cleaning verification.
• Document work processes in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ensure electronic traceability.
• Operate and monitor automated systems, resolve issues, and assist with maintenance and repairs.
• Receive, inspect, and issue SAP batch‑managed materials, managing shelf‑life and visual checks.
• Prepare and deliver materials to the ISO area according to GMP and MES specifications.
• Create shopping carts, manage waste disposal, and coordinate with the site waste‑disposal provider.
• Maintain various warehouse inventories.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training, preferably as a chemical technician or pharmaceutical technologist.
• Experience with automated systems in a GMP environment.
• Fluent German (spoken and written).
• Strong quality and safety awareness, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• MES (Manufacturing Execution System) knowledge.
• SAP batch‑material handling.
• Experience with automated GMP systems.
• Understanding of GMP regulations.
