Group Accountant – Swiss Headquarters (Lucerne)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Group Accountant to join our newly established Swiss headquarters in Lucerne. The role focuses on statutory compliance, Swiss GAAP FER accounting, tax filings and close collaboration with our finance team in China and the German branch.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file Swiss corporate income tax, VAT and withholding tax returns, and support tax audits.
• Execute day‑to‑day accounting, manage intercompany transactions, and produce statutory financial statements under Swiss GAAP FER.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register for the Lucerne office, handling capitalization, depreciation and disposals.
• Coordinate with the Head of Group Finance in China and the shared‑service team for AP, AR and treasury processing.
• Act as primary contact for the Swiss Commercial Register and other regulatory bodies.
• Support ad‑hoc projects such as restructuring, transfer‑pricing documentation and group reporting.

Required profile

• Swiss certified accounting qualification (e.g., Fachmann/Fachfrau im Finanz‑ und Rechnungswesen).
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Swiss accounting and tax compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with Swiss corporate tax, VAT and withholding tax filings.
• Ability to manage intercompany reconciliations and fixed‑asset accounting.
