Group Category Manager – Business Services Procurement

About the role

Lindt & Sprüngli is seeking a Group Category Manager for Business Services to lead strategic procurement across IT, Consulting, Retail materials, HR and Insurances at a global and European level. The role focuses on defining sourcing strategies, delivering year‑on‑year value, and supporting large‑scale sourcing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement multi‑year sourcing strategies for key indirect spend categories, targeting significant cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.
• Lead the design, negotiation and management of master service agreements in collaboration with the Legal department, establishing best‑in‑class commercial models.
• Collaborate with Head of Group Indirect Procurement, local procurement teams and business functions to align on value‑delivery initiatives and share best practices.
• Provide market insights, maintain e‑sourcing tools and templates, and facilitate cross‑country workshops to drive consistent procurement excellence.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in global or regional indirect procurement, preferably in FMCG or food industry.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross‑functional sourcing projects and delivering sustainable cost reductions.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with senior business leaders.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating master service agreements and using advanced e‑sourcing tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑sourcing platforms such as Sievo and Coupa.
• Advanced negotiation and contract‑management capabilities.
