Group Controller (m/f/d) - 100%

About the role

A globally active, publicly listed technology company with operations in Europe, Asia and North America is looking for a Group Controller (m/f/d) for a high-visibility, 100% role with Board-level reporting and strategic decision-making. The remit covers Group Reporting, IFRS, Consolidation and Corporate Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated financial statements under IFRS
• Review submissions from international entities, analyse financial developments and variances, and support external reporting and disclosures
• Support group-wide budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and prepare management reports, business cases, scenario analyses and ad-hoc evaluations
• Maintain group accounting policies and reporting guidelines, assess complex IFRS matters, act as key contact for external auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls and governance
• Advise senior finance leadership, support management and board presentations, and take part in cross-functional projects with Treasury, Tax, ESG, Legal and Investor Relations
• Contribute to finance transformation, automation and process improvement

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Approximately 8+ years of experience in Group Controlling, Financial Reporting, Consolidation or Audit
• Background in a Big Four firm, an international listed company, or a combination of both
• Experience in complex multinational organisations
• Fluent English is essential; German is highly desirable

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
• SAP knowledge is a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
