Group Controller (m/f/d) - 100%

About the role

A global, publicly listed technology company with operations in Europe, Asia and North America is looking for a Group Controller reporting directly to the Director Corporate Finance. The role ensures the quality, accuracy and transparency of the Group's financial reporting and controlling, combining technical accounting expertise with strategic business partnering and exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and reporting, and ensure consolidated financial statements are prepared accurately in line with IFRS
• Review submissions from international entities, analyse key financial developments and variances, and support external reporting and disclosures
• Support group-wide budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and prepare management reports, business cases, scenario analyses and ad-hoc evaluations
• Maintain group accounting policies and reporting guidelines, assess complex accounting and IFRS matters, and act as a key contact for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and governance requirements, and improve reporting quality and documentation
• Advise senior finance leadership, support management and board presentations, and take part in cross-functional projects with Treasury, Tax, ESG, Legal and Investor Relations

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Approximately 8+ years of experience in Group Controlling, Financial Reporting, Consolidation or Audit
• Big Four or listed-company background, or a combination of both
• Experience in complex multinational organisations
• Fluent English is essential; German is highly desirable

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
• SAP knowledge is a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
