H&B Consultant

About the role

The H&B Consultant provides financial, contract and administrative analysis while managing project components and client requests related to health benefits administration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, underwriting and data analytics in partnership with actuaries to support funding analysis.
• Develop client strategies, interpret benchmark data and ensure implementation of plan changes.
• Manage project timelines, quality of deliverables and supervise junior colleagues.
• Oversee internal specialty resources to meet client goals and deadlines.
• Lead RFP processes with health insurance carriers and internal analysts.
• Collect, review and compile health benefits information from various sources and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Prepare executive summary reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Establish and maintain carrier/vendor relationships for eligibility, claims, billing and plan administration.

Required profile

• Experience in financial and administrative analysis within health benefits or consulting environments.
• Strong project management skills with ability to supervise junior team members.
• Ability to work directly with clients and manage stakeholder relationships.
