Head of Client & Broker Engagement Switzerland & Austria

About the role

The Head of Client & Broker Engagement for Switzerland & Austria will lead the DACH team, shaping strategy, stabilising the portfolio and driving new business across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic management of large corporate clients and in‑house brokers at C‑level, coordinating AIG sales activities across lines, countries and functions.
• Develop and execute executive meetings, annual reviews, account reviews and exclusive client events.
• Represent AIG at national and international industry events and forums.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets using CRM systems, KPI monitoring and portfolio management.
• Lead and orchestrate virtual, international account teams (underwriting, claims, operations, legal) through leadership without authority.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Business Administration or comparable field (master’s or MBA preferred).
• Extensive experience in strategic sales, key‑account or broker management within large‑corporate insurance.
• Strong network with corporate clients and in‑house brokers across Austria and Switzerland.
• Proven ability to work with boards, executive management and C‑level stakeholders.
• Excellent intercultural competence and leadership influence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Office 365.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM.
