Head of Client Lifecycle Integrity – Director

About the role

Swissquote is establishing a new Client Lifecycle Integrity (CLI) department to act as a 1.5 line of defence for private client relationships. The Head of Client Lifecycle Integrity will lead this department, define its strategic direction, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations while driving technology‑enabled optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define CLI strategy, governance, and priorities; build a high‑performing management team.
• Maintain a strong risk‑based control environment and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal policies.
• Represent CLI in senior management and governance bodies; act as senior point of contact for regulators and auditors.
• Oversee private client onboarding, periodic reviews, account maintenance, and AML transaction monitoring.
• Drive process optimisation, automation, and digitalisation using data, analytics, workflow tools and AI.
• Monitor operational and quality metrics, report risk and performance indicators to executive management.

Required profile

• 10+ years in a leadership role within Operations, Compliance, AML, Risk Management or similar in banking/financial services.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Proven track record in process optimisation, automation and operational excellence.
• Experience managing large, diverse teams and developing talent.
• Native French or English speaker with full professional fluency in the other language.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in client onboarding, KYC/AML and client lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of AML transaction monitoring and related regulatory requirements.
• Ability to leverage data, technology, workflow tools and AI to enhance control effectiveness.
• Project management and process improvement certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
