Head of Cyber Security Engineering

About the role

The Bank is seeking a visionary leader to head its Cyber Security Engineering function. You will design, build, and operate secure‑by‑design platforms that proactively prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats across hybrid on‑prem and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a cyber engineering roadmap aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite and business objectives.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing team covering security engineering, DevSecOps, and cyber platform operations.
• Own budget, vendor strategy, and capacity planning for cyber tooling and platforms.
• Establish and enforce security‑by‑design and security‑by‑default patterns across infrastructure, applications, and data.
• Industrialise security controls through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD integration, shifting security left in the development lifecycle.
• Manage the lifecycle of enterprise‑class security platforms such as EDR/XDR, PAM, CSPM, DLP, HSM, etc.
• Ensure availability, scalability, and performance of cyber platforms with robust SLAs and KPIs.

Required profile

• Visionary cyber engineering leader with deep hands‑on experience translating complex security requirements into scalable solutions.
• Proven track record building and operating security platforms in regulated financial environments.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience, including 5+ years in security architecture, security engineering, integration or secure application development.
• Fluent French; strong English is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, strategic yet hands‑on, with excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision‑making under pressure.
• Swiss residence is mandatory.
