Head of Delivery

About the role

OneDoc, the leading healthcare platform in Switzerland, is looking for a Head of Delivery to act as the CTO's right hand for execution. The person owns that the product ships on time, at the required quality level, with no surprises in the final week before release, spending most of the day in code with developers rather than in meetings. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Geneva or Lausanne, with a hybrid model of at least 3 days on site and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Break features down with developers before work starts, split them into shippable slices, challenge estimates and agree on what "done" means, including tests, edge cases and rollback.
• Review code and technical designs daily, catching problems early and showing better solutions in the code.
• Act as a sparring partner, pairing with developers who are stuck and unblocking them the same day.
• Own the release cut, the go/no-go decision, the hotfix procedure and the post-release check, keeping quality and security gates intact.
• Spot slippage early, find its cause and fix it, so leadership knows about risks before they become delays.
• Set the standard for the team through how you scope, review, test and communicate.

Required profile

• A strong software engineer who can open an unfamiliar codebase and guide a developer to a concrete solution in code.
• 7+ years building software, with personal accountability for releases and leading delivery for a team.
• Experience shipping under pressure while protecting quality.
• Adapts process to the team and communicates clearly, with honest feedback to leadership.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Valid work permit, as the role is open only to applicants with one.
