Infrastructure Software Engineer

About the role

OneDoc, the leading healthcare platform in Switzerland, is looking for an Infrastructure Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable, secure and reliable infrastructure for its SaaS platform. The role has real ownership: you will actively shape how the infrastructure evolves, ensuring performance, observability and reliability. It is a permanent, full-time position (100%) in Geneva or Lausanne, starting as soon as possible, with a hybrid model of at least 3 days on site and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability and security.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts and monitoring tools to improve deployment speed and operational efficiency.
• Maintain system security, backups and compliance standards, and help teams identify and mitigate risks.
• Design monitoring, logging and alerting to give real-time visibility into system health and performance.
• Work with the CTO, developers and product managers to turn business needs into resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Keep up with best practices and introduce new tools and processes to improve performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Valid work permit, as the position is open only to applicants with one.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ansible, Terraform or similar automation tools
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or OpenSearch
• Linux systems administration and networking
