Head of Network Configuration – Diagnostics Supply Chain

About the role

The Diagnostics Supply Chain Network Orchestration department drives end‑to‑end integration, resilience and operational excellence. As Head of Network Configuration you will lead the continuous operation, monitoring and improvement of a global distribution network spanning affiliates, regions, hubs and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Establish global governance frameworks and SOPs for distribution network parameter configuration.
• Steer decisions on transportation modes, replenishment lot sizes, safety stocks, rounding values and routing paths to reduce cost and CO₂ emissions.
• Optimize end‑to‑end flow of goods to react quickly to regulatory shifts or changing demand.
• Leverage advanced analytics for continuous monitoring of configuration variables and crisis response.
• Manage the link with Master Data Management to securely govern active distribution parameters.
• Design complex multi‑node supply‑chain architectures balancing service, inventory and cost across hubs, OEMs and affiliates.
• Collaborate with Global Product Planning, Network Management, Hub Operations, Commercial Supply Chain and Order Execution to drive cross‑functional standardisation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 7‑8 years of professional experience in supply‑chain or international operations/production.
• Deep expertise in configuring multi‑node supply‑chain architectures, lead times, safety stocks and master‑data structures.
• Proven ability to lead leaders across diverse geographic and cultural boundaries.
• Excellent communication, analytical problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
