New Product Launch Expert (Instruments) – Supply Chain

About the role

The Global Product Launch and Supply Chain Lead will drive organization‑wide integration initiatives and commercialisation of complex diagnostic instruments on an international scale. The role balances operational execution with strategic planning to ensure launch readiness, cold‑chain compliance and long‑term network optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day launch timelines, volume ramps and resolve immediate cold‑chain or regulatory bottlenecks (≈60% of time).
• Lead multi‑year footprint planning and early‑stage product life‑cycle activities to prepare the network for hardware solutions launching in 2‑5 years.
• Manage end‑to‑end supply‑chain workflows, divisional launches and technical problem‑solving across internal manufacturing and external sites.
• Influence internal leaders (Supply Chain, Finance, R&D) and negotiate global design standards with external logistics providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in Diagnostics, Medical Devices or Aerospace/Capital Equipment with deep knowledge of manufacturing and distribution of complex hardware.
• Proven track record of managing global launches for capital equipment in highly regulated environments (ISO 13485, FDA).
• Strong matrix‑leadership capability to make strategic decisions across culturally diverse teams.

Required skills

• Experience with ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in global trade compliance for electronics and field‑service logistics.
• Understanding of hardware product life‑cycle, including manufacturing scale‑up.
