Head of Production

About the role

Join a leading Swiss manufacturer operating in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Chemical sectors as the Head of Production. You will lead high‑performing production teams, shape manufacturing strategy and drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety and overall operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Production Managers, Supervisors and shop‑floor teams.
• Deliver key performance indicators across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Optimise production planning, capacity utilisation and operational performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Maintenance functions.
• Lead transformation projects and operational improvement programmes.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, health & safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical or Chemical manufacturing.
• Previous role as Head of Production, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager or similar.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience delivering Lean, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence.
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and quality systems.
