Head of Talent Acquisition, Retail

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Retail Talent Acquisition to design and lead a world‑class, field‑embedded hiring model that supports our ambitious global retail expansion. This senior leader will shape the strategic talent acquisition roadmap, modernize operating models, and act as a growth partner to Retail Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define global standards for the "Field‑Embedded" Talent Acquisition Partner model, ensuring consistent quality and judgement across regions.
• Lead the TA strategy for new store openings worldwide, coaching store managers and overseeing hiring from first interview to ribbon‑cutting.
• Directly manage, mentor, and empower a distributed team of regional Retail Recruiters, guiding them to influence area managers and raise hiring standards.
• Partner with the Head of Retail Operations and regional GMs to align talent strategy with local market nuances and store performance needs.
• Shift focus from volume hiring to long‑term impact, owning metrics such as hiring bar quality, early attrition reduction, and candidate experience.
• Champion inclusive hiring by embedding bias‑awareness coaching into store‑level interview processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in premium retail or performance‑brand talent acquisition.
• Proven leadership of distributed recruiting teams with a focus on proximity and presence.
• Demonstrated success managing talent logistics for multiple new store openings in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong advisory skills, able to navigate matrixed organizations and influence senior operational leaders.
• Excellent communication abilities to align global standards with local store realities worldwide.
