Managing Director – Switzerland

About the role

Birn+Partners is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead its Swiss operations, advising C‑level leaders, entrepreneurs and private‑equity funds while driving cross‑border business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Promote cross‑border knowledge sharing and business development across European markets.
• Own P/L, finance, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and legal compliance for the Swiss office.
• Provide individual coaching and development for consultants and lead daily, monthly and KPI reporting.
• Recruit, train, onboard and manage team members, including 1:1 coaching.
• Deploy Birn+Partners’ strategy locally and collaborate with MDs from ten other countries.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in executive search or senior leadership roles.
• Established professional network in Switzerland, especially at C‑level.
• Strong business development and commercial drive.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
• Proven advisory, relationship‑building and analytical abilities.
