HR Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Specialist

About the role

The HR Compensation & Benefits and Payroll Specialist will manage compensation, benefits and wellness programs across EMEA, supporting the company’s growth strategy. The role requires strong initiative, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of a consistent rewards philosophy aligned with organizational objectives.
• Assist with candidate salary and benefits packages, internal and external pay equity analysis, and the global Annual Salary Review.
• Develop and implement ELCA’s benefits policy and EMEA wellness initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end Swiss payroll, including employee changes, absences, year‑end processing, social security, insurance, pension fund and tax‑at‑source compliance.
• Prepare HR reports, scorecards and executive analyses by consolidating Swiss and near‑shore compensation data.
• Contribute to HRIS development, testing and continuous improvement, including the Annual Salary Review tool.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; HR Brevet federal is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including Swiss compensation and benefits expertise.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and project‑leadership skills in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication in French and English; German is a plus.

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and implementation experience.
• Expertise in compensation analysis and payroll administration.
• Knowledge of various incentive types and employee benefits.
