HR & Compliance Coordinator

About the role

This remote position supports end‑to‑end HR operations while ensuring that workforce practices meet regulatory and organisational standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to build efficient people processes in a purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate full recruitment cycles, from job posting to employment documentation.
• Manage onboarding, ensuring documentation, training and orientation are completed efficiently.
• Track and maintain compliance requirements, including certifications, background checks and insurance documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee, training and compliance records for audit readiness.
• Organise internal and external training programmes, including e‑learning and professional development.
• Handle workforce scheduling, roster updates, shift changes and leave coverage.
• Conduct internal audits of records and processes, identifying improvements.
• Support employee engagement through check‑ins, feedback collection and recognition initiatives.
• Assist with policy updates, compliance reporting and documentation aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate with external training providers to enhance workforce capability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, compliance or workforce coordination, preferably within disability services, community services or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Australian workplace regulations.
• Familiarity with the SCHADS Award and related employment standards.
• Proven ability to conduct internal audits, prepare reports and maintain accurate records for leadership review.
