HR Employee Relations Advisor

About the role

Otis is seeking a proactive HR Employee Relations Advisor to foster a positive and inclusive workplace across its Swiss locations. The role serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters while supporting HR operations during a key transformation phase.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve workplace conflicts and mediate disputes, providing guidance or escalating when necessary.
• Analyse employee relations cases to identify learning opportunities and deliver targeted upskilling for managers.
• Coach managers and deliver people insights to improve team dynamics.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for HR operations, ensuring smooth process execution and effective handover of activities.
• Collaborate with HR Operations and the Shared Service Centre to continuously improve service delivery.
• Work closely with HR Business Partners to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Participate in HR projects, offering insights and recommendations.
• Prepare HR reports with key metrics and insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, or mediation.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law, regulations and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Structured, solution‑oriented work style with a high degree of independence.
• Native French speaker with professional proficiency in English; additional fluency in Italian or German is a plus.
• Experience in matrix organisations and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
