HR Operations & Projects Trainee (18 months) – Geneva

About the role

Eli Lilly is seeking a high‑potential graduate for an 18‑month HR Operations & Projects Trainee programme in Geneva. You will gain hands‑on experience across core HR functions while supporting cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and gradually co‑lead cross‑functional HR projects, taking increasing ownership.
• Assist with Talent Acquisition, Organization Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations and HR Operations processes.
• Analyze HR data, generate insights and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR stakeholders locally and internationally.
• Help enhance HR tools, processes and overall employee experience.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a top‑tier institution (e.g., HEC, business school or equivalent).
• Strong interest in learning all core areas of HR.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English, French and German.
• Agile, curious and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
