HR People Partner – Switzerland & Austria

About the role

As an HR People Partner covering Switzerland and Austria, you will be at the centre of the employee experience, advising People Leaders and supporting staff on a daily basis. You will translate HR strategy into practical actions, ensure compliance with local legislation, and help build an inclusive, safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and support People Leaders on complex HR issues, leveraging central tools and standards.
• Promote an inclusive, safety‑first workplace by partnering with local leadership teams.
• Embed company values in local initiatives to boost engagement and overall employee experience.
• Act as the local HR expert, managing employee‑relations cases, grievance handling and escalation prevention.
• Collaborate with Centres of Excellence on corrective actions, investigations and labor‑relations matters such as collective‑bargaining.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss and Austrian labour laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Execute workforce and talent agenda, supporting HR projects, change initiatives and HR process roll‑outs across the talent lifecycle.
• Provide data‑driven insights to HR Business Partners and People Leaders.

Required profile

• Proven experience advising People Leaders on HR topics in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss and Austrian employment legislation and collective‑bargaining processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee‑relations cases and support labor‑relations activities.
• Experience driving culture and engagement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
