HSE Manager - Bern Toblerone Plant

About the role

Mondelēz International is looking for an HSE Manager for its Bern Toblerone plant. The role drives a culture of zero incidents and an optimum environmental footprint, ensuring facilities are well maintained, regulations and procedures are in place and implemented, hazards and aspects are assessed, and energy use and waste are reduced.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and lead the cultural transformation of HSE to help the plant reach zero accidents and incidents
• Coordinate and oversee all health, safety and environment programs and processes
• Take part in investigations to close non-conformances and follow up on them using root cause analysis
• Provide HSE expertise for new projects and change management activities
• Maintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, investigate incidents with the HSE pillar team and safety committee, and drive corrective actions
• Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards
• Lead and manage facility management activities, including service contracts, and develop the site's facility management and long-term investment strategy

Required profile

• Experience in environmental health and safety, with completed training in areas such as OSHA, EPA and DNREC
• Fluency in German and English is a must
• Experience in safety and/or environmental technical standards
• Knowledge of regulatory reports and compliance, including ISO
