Human Resource Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resource Business Partner works closely with management to drive measurable improvements in employee engagement and productivity. Acting as a bridge between HR services and business objectives, the role also leads key HR projects and mentors less‑experienced HR professionals, supporting the Swiss and Dutch offices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day performance‑management guidance, coaching, career development and disciplinary support to business leaders.
• Manage and resolve complex employee‑relations issues and oversee formal appeals and hearings.
• Mentor junior HR staff and act as program lead for initiatives such as performance management, succession planning and employee development.
• Develop comprehensive people plans, implement talent‑management processes and coach stakeholders on innovative team structures.
• Embed business strategies through workforce planning, organisational restructuring and succession planning while ensuring legal compliance.
• Analyse HR trends and metrics, create programs that deliver measurable improvements and validate the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships across departments, collaborate with HR teams on recruitment, compensation and other functions, and support stakeholders in accessing labour and development programmes.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of legal requirements and internal policies to ensure compliant HR practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR business partnering or a similar HR advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and internal HR policies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee‑relations cases and lead HR projects.
• Analytical mindset with experience using HR data to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
