Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Human Resources Officer to support the full employee lifecycle across our Swiss operations. The role involves HR administration, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, recruitment support, and ensuring compliance with Swiss labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation, transfers, and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, reference letters and maintain accurate HR records.
• Respond to employee HR queries promptly.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews, prepare offer letters and manage onboarding logistics.
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs and liaise with payroll providers.
• Administer employee benefits, insurance, pensions and leave records.
• Support performance reviews, probation processes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with disciplinary, grievance processes while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss labour laws and company policies; support HR audits.
• Prepare HR reports and dashboards; assist with budgeting and workforce planning.
• Participate in HR process improvement, digitalisation initiatives and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• HR certification (Swiss HR Assistant, HRSE or equivalent) is a plus.
• 3–5 years of HR generalist or HR operations experience, preferably in an international or multinational environment.
• Good understanding of Swiss employment legislation and HR practices.
