Insurance Business Analyst (Associate - Manager)

About the role

PwC is hiring an Insurance Business Analyst (Associate - Manager) in Zurich for its FS Technology Consulting practice. You will work with clients on their insurance transformation journey, advising project managers, product owners and sponsors mainly on Core Platform transformations and business change projects in the financial services industry. The role develops skills in driving, delivering and assessing global transformation and change projects within PwC's Core Platform and Project/Program Management services.

Key responsibilities

• Give advice and an independent perspective on the project management and sponsorship of insurance transformations.
• Help clients deliver transformations in scope, time and budget while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements for financial institutions.
• Cover work areas such as project delivery, target operating model design, digitisation and optimisation of core insurance processes, and reviews and assessments of all major transformation phases.
• Manage key stakeholders and benefits realisation, and advise on the design and implementation of core insurance platforms.
• Work closely with clients and PwC interdisciplinary teams in Switzerland and abroad.

Required profile

• Fluency in German and English is a must.
• 1 to 5 years of work experience, ideally as a transformation manager or business analyst, with an insurance and/or IT background.
• Exposure to core platform and change implementations, and a track record in complex programmes from initial assessment through design and build, including planning, execution and calibration.
• Strong analytical skills, independent and pragmatic working style, and strong communication skills at business level.
• Able to work in an agile, international environment with a mix of local and international engagements.
