Manager / Senior Manager SAP Business Transformation & Architecture

About the role

PwC is looking for an experienced SAP transformation and technology architecture professional in Zurich to shape complex SAP architecture and guide large business transformations. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, helping them define modern SAP landscapes, make sound architecture decisions and deliver measurable transformation outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Bridge business and IT at senior level, translating strategic objectives into pragmatic SAP architecture concepts and transformation roadmaps
• Assess clients' technology architectures, integration landscapes and process priorities, and recommend SAP S/4HANA (RISE and Grow), SAP Business Technology Platform and related solutions
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, consultants, technical specialists, client staff and technology partners, providing structure, quality assurance and escalation management
• Identify and lead innovation initiatives across SAP, cloud, integration, data, analytics, automation and AI, turning ideas into prototypes and scalable implementations
• Manage senior stakeholder expectations, facilitate executive-level discussions and contribute to sales cycles, proposals and account growth
• Develop market-facing content such as points of view, white papers, blog posts and conference material, and represent PwC externally

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Informatics, Business Administration with a technology focus, or a related field
• Several years of SAP-enabled business transformation, technology architecture, ERP modernization or enterprise application advisory experience, ideally in a multinational environment
• Proven ability to lead workstreams, manage teams and drive delivery in demanding client environments
• Excellent written and spoken English; fluent German or French is a strong plus
• Desirable: advanced degree (MBA, PhD), consulting with large organizations, RfP and solutioning experience, and relevant SAP certifications

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA architecture, integration patterns, cloud adoption and data flows
• Deep knowledge of one or more SAP S/4HANA core areas and/or SAP Business Technology Platform
• Large ERP transformations, migration concepts, fit-to-standard approaches and SAP Activate methodology
• Management consulting skills: opportunity identification, proposal support, executive storytelling and pitching
