Integration Engineer, ERP (Oracle)
blp-digital · Zurich
Job description
About the role
BLP builds an agentic platform that automates finance and operations processes for enterprise customers. Its integrations with customers' ERP systems are essential, and as an Integration Engineer you will build and own those connections and keep live integrations running. You will lead the Oracle integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite and JD Edwards, while also contributing to other integrations. The position is based in the Zurich office, hybrid with 3+ office days per week, or remotely from anywhere in Europe.
Key responsibilities
- Own the integrations with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite and JD Edwards and ensure their market fit, usability and reliability.
- Design and implement interfaces for REST, SOAP, direct database access and file transfers.
- Explore new ERP systems and determine the best way to connect them.
- Build new ERP integrations, often in close collaboration with pilot customers.
- Own existing integrations end to end, including issue resolution, and document them so teammates can pick them up.
- Enable technical project managers to consult on, install and configure mature integrations.
Required profile
- Integration Engineer: 2+ years of hands-on integration work, in-depth experience with one Oracle ERP and its interfaces, delivering and maintaining integrations independently with guidance on architecture decisions.
- Senior Integration Engineer: 5+ years of hands-on integration work, experience across two or more of Fusion, NetSuite and JD Edwards or across Oracle and other ERPs, having coached or mentored others and owning the Oracle integrations end to end.
- Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
Required skills
- Hands-on integration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite or JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ideally more than one.
- Native interfaces: Oracle Fusion (REST, SOAP, FBDI, BI Publisher/BICC), NetSuite (SuiteTalk, SuiteQL, SuiteScript 2.x, OAuth 2.0) and JD Edwards (AIS Server, Orchestrator, BSSV, Z-files).
- Understanding of purchase-to-pay data in Oracle ERPs.
- Programming in at least one backend language; Go is used internally, but Java, C# or Python is acceptable.
- Nice to have: experience with both cloud and on-premise environments, extensive SQL, JSON/XML/CSV and REST/SOAP/SFTP, Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD, and experience with other ERPs such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Infor.
What we offer
- Full-time, permanent employment.
- Fast-tracked growth with promotions and a bonus scheme that includes company shares.
- Regular team events.
- Remote work from anywhere in Europe, with paid visits and stays in Zurich.
