Intern QC Lab Associate (PIBS students)

About the role

Join Lonza's QC laboratory in Visp as an Intern QC Lab Associate. You will work on routine analytical tasks in a GMP‑compliant environment, gaining hands‑on experience in a global life‑science company.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine analysis using assigned analytical methods following GMP and safety guidelines.
• Support method implementation, validation, and transfer activities.
• Document results, create work instructions, and carry out related administrative tasks.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

Required profile

• Started or completed an apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician, or BSc/MSc studies in life sciences.
• First experience in analytical lab work (school, university or previous employment).
• Independent, precise, and responsible work style.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; fluent in German or English.

Required skills

• Routine analytical testing.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements.
• Laboratory equipment handling and maintenance.
