Program Manager, Integrated Biologics

About the role

Lonza is seeking a (Senior) Program Manager to lead Integrated Biologics projects from contract signing through GMP manufacturing and delivery. You will act as the primary liaison between Lonza and its customers, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver customer programs across the full lifecycle, from technology transfer to GMP manufacturing and project closure.
• Serve as the trusted main point of contact for customers, fostering transparent communication and long‑term collaboration.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment, driving shared ownership and high performance.
• Manage scope, timelines, and financials to align with strategic business goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring smooth issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or related field; PhD is a plus.
• Experience in project or program management, preferably in pharma or CDMO.
• Strong understanding of technical, commercial and organisational factors.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex programs.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
