International Social Media Manager (80-100%)

About the role

As the International Social Media Manager you will keep close to 100,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube informed about Hamilton Medical’s products, mechanical ventilation insights and customer experiences. You will work closely with product, academy and branding teams in Bonaduz, Switzerland, as well as with local marketing managers in the UK, USA, India, Germany and France.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global social media strategy that boosts brand awareness and engagement.
• Create compelling text, image, graphic and video content for worldwide audiences.
• Grow and nurture communities on existing and emerging platforms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to source stories, expert insights and content opportunities.
• Manage and moderate conversations, ensuring timely and professional community interaction.
• Monitor, analyse and report on channel and campaign performance, using insights for continuous improvement.
• Plan and manage the social media budget effectively.
• Maintain news and event content for the website, intranet and partner network, and produce newsletters for customers and partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager.
• Excellent English communication and copy‑writing skills (C2 level); German is a plus, French optional.
• Strong interest in medical technology; med‑tech or healthcare experience is advantageous.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and ability to monitor channels outside regular office hours.

Required skills

• Copy‑writing and content creation (text, image, graphic, video).
• Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
• Experience with Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with the B2B social media management platform Oktopost.
