International Social Media Manager (80-100%)

About the role

Hamilton Medical is looking for an International Social Media Manager to lead its global social presence. You will work closely with product, branding, and regional marketing teams to keep a community of nearly 100,000 followers informed and engaged across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global social media strategy that boosts brand awareness and supports business goals.
• Create and publish compelling content (text, images, graphics, video) for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging channels.
• Grow and nurture online communities, moderating conversations and responding to inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to source stories, expert insights, and product news.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics, adjusting tactics based on data.
• Manage the social media budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Maintain up‑to‑date news and event content for the website, intranet and partner network.
• Produce newsletters for customers and distribution partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager.
• Excellent English communication and copy‑writing skills (C2 level); German and French are a plus.
• Strong interest in medical technology; experience in med‑tech or healthcare is advantageous.
• Curious, proactive learner with the ability to work across multiple time zones.

Required skills

• Content creation across text, image, graphic and video formats.
• Basic SEO knowledge and keyword research.
• Google Analytics for performance tracking.
• Familiarity with B2B social media management tools, preferably Oktopost.
