International Tax M&A and Structuring Manager (Financial Services)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead international tax work on mergers, acquisitions and restructuring projects for financial‑services clients. You will work within the Corporate Tax team, advising private‑equity and real‑estate investors on cross‑border tax implications and helping them build efficient structures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive tax advice on M&A, restructuring and holding‑company structuring for a diverse client portfolio.
• Lead and coordinate multi‑country tax projects, including tax due diligence, SPA review, tax modelling and post‑completion advisory.
• Guide and develop associates and senior associates throughout complex engagements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to expand the financial‑services, private‑equity and real‑estate tax practice.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment while building leadership capabilities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or an above‑average bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, law or a related field with a tax focus; an LLM in international tax is a plus.
• Minimum four years of professional experience in international taxation and M&A‑related tax matters.
• Experience working with private‑equity or real‑estate clients is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate multi‑country tax projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of legal concepts and financial modelling.
