International Tax Officer – Crossborder Compliance

About the role

The International Tax Officer will work in the fund department of an asset management unit of an international bank, handling corporate and cross‑border tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax, international tax compliance (FATCA/CRS) and client tax reporting.
• Deal with strategic and operational tax topics for funds and clients.
• Review transfer pricing documentation and handle international jurisdictions.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of foreign tax regulations and worldwide reporting initiatives (OECD, foreign governments).
• Analyse tax implications of transactions and business proposals.
• Improve controls and processes, including implementation of technology solutions.
• Support auditors during tax audits and handle correspondence with tax authorities.
• Participate in ad‑hoc tax projects.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Law, Economics or Finance.
• Professional experience at a Big Four firm or top‑tier law firm.
• In‑depth knowledge of Swiss and international tax law and transfer pricing.
• Understanding of tax accounting and cross‑border tax issues.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and project‑management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities and fluent English.
