About the role
Lonza is looking for an intern to join its EMR (electronic, measuring and control engineering) team in Visp, Switzerland. The internship runs at 80-100% intensity and aims to integrate the intern fully into the team so they can learn the practical aspects of an EMR engineer and support the team in its daily work.
Key responsibilities
- Program and configure the control of plants and machines.
- Ensure that plants are electronically controlled, regulated, monitored and visualized using process control systems.
- Provide the end user with the process data in the desired form.
Required profile
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work and a practical understanding.
- Independent and flexible way of working, with a distinct ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
- Business-oriented thinking, willingness to change and motivation to complete the profile.
