Internship – Innovation & Analytics Hub

About the role

The Innovation & Analytics Hub at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is seeking motivated interns to support its workstreams in Geneva. Interns will join a UN‑wide centre of excellence that leverages data, digital tools, and emerging technologies to strengthen human‑rights analysis and early‑warning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in strategic coordination and planning activities, including meeting facilitation and preparation of analytics products.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, such as prototype development and AI‑related research.
• Contribute to data‑driven analysis, risk assessment, and early‑warning dashboards.
• Help produce slide decks, background papers, and communication materials for the Hub’s Community of Practice.
• Participate in donor research, resource‑mobilisation tasks, and documentation of project outcomes.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant university programme.
• Availability for 3–6 months, with flexibility for remote or in‑person arrangements (full‑time in‑person required for the Risk Analysis workstream).
• Willingness to cover personal travel, visa, accommodation, and living costs.
• Strong interest in human‑rights issues, data analytics, and digital innovation.
