Investment Distribution & Governance Lead

About the role

The Investment Distribution & Governance Lead will shape the strategic direction and commercial success of Santander’s investment platform in Switzerland, working closely with the Chief Investment Office and senior commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive product governance by leading the Product Committee, ensuring timely product approvals and maintaining documentation in line with FINMA/FinSA.
• Oversee the Investment Committee, articulate the house view, and ensure alignment between asset allocation decisions and client portfolios.
• Manage distribution strategy across advisory, discretionary portfolio management, alternatives, funds, and structured products to support asset growth and revenue generation.
• Ensure commercial initiatives are underpinned by robust governance and compliance with Swiss regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Investment, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial teams to deliver innovative, compliant investment solutions.
• Monitor and optimise the product inventory and review cycle to keep the offering differentiated and fit‑for‑purpose.
• Support client engagement by ensuring clear communication of investment strategies and high sales effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in investment product governance and distribution within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of Swiss regulatory framework (FINMA, FinSA) and internal risk controls.
• Ability to work with senior commercial stakeholders and translate investment capabilities into client propositions.
• Experience coordinating investment committees and aligning house view with product positioning.
