IT Support – Hardware Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support professional to join our Zurich‑based client in the insurance and re‑insurance sector. The role focuses on hardware refresh activities and day‑to‑day support for end users at the headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare new Windows laptops for deployment as part of the hardware refresh programme.
• Assist users during device handover and ensure a smooth transition to new equipment.
• Configure Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and file shares.
• Manage incoming and returned devices, maintain asset tracking records and perform basic administration.
• Provide on‑site IT support to end users at the Zurich HQ on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer‑facing IT support, desktop support or service desk roles.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint and identity management.
• Ability to work on‑site every day and support a laptop refresh project.
• German language proficiency.
