IT Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a demanding on‑site environment in Zurich. The successful candidate will work independently, providing first‑line technical assistance to end‑users and ensuring smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users and resolve IT incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and peripherals.
• Support Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and business applications.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and authentication issues.
• Document interventions in the ticketing system and escalate complex incidents to L2/L3 teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in L1 IT support.
• Proven experience in a demanding or critical professional environment.
• Strong autonomy, accuracy, service orientation, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft) are an advantage.
• English C1 level (mandatory).
• German C1 level (mandatory).
