Java DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) – Geneva, Switzerland

About the role

We are seeking a senior Java DevOps Engineer to join a leading banking client in Geneva. The role combines deep Java development expertise with end‑to‑end DevOps responsibilities, working in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Java‑based micro‑services and REST APIs.
• Own the full deployment lifecycle, from CI/CD pipeline creation to production release.
• Drive automation‑first practices using Jenkins, pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure platform reliability, observability and security through monitoring tools and secure API design.
• Perform root‑cause analysis, resolve production incidents and support on‑call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across development, security and operations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development and DevOps.
• Advanced proficiency in French and English.
• Legal right to work in Switzerland from day 1 (Swiss/EU nationality or valid B/C work permit).
• Immediate availability preferred; candidates requiring a 3‑month notice will not be considered.
