Junior Compliance Officer

About the role

As a Junior Compliance Officer in the Task Force team, you will support the bank’s compliance programmes, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards. You will work on risk and client file reviews, helping to identify, assess and mitigate financial crime risks in line with FINMA expectations and the Group’s global Financial Crime Compliance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Participate independently in evolving compliance tasks and remediation activities.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews of client files and assess changes in client risk classifications.
• Follow up on committee decisions, ensuring actions are completed and client data remains accurate.
• Record review outcomes in the remediation tool, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to close documentation gaps and support timely remediation.
• Support private‑banking staff on AML/KYC procedures and act as a subject‑matter expert for compliance queries.
• Contribute to onboarding and upskilling of new reviewers.
• Participate in cross‑department projects to enhance the overall compliance framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA Diploma in Anti‑Money Laundering (preferred).
• Experience in KYC, AML or compliance within financial services, preferably private banking.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
